Contract Electronics Design

PNE's electronics and software design team have a long history of developing innovative control solutions across a range of disciplines. From the world's first steam iron safety cut-out switch (developed under contract to Sunbeam), to a safety cut-out system for Black&Decker steam irons and the first safety cut-out system in an Australian manufactured toaster, PNE's capabilities have come a long way.

Today, our team designs have been contracted to design numerous complex control solutions for a wide range of devices, ranging from vending and banking systems, to heating and cooling systems, to waste disposal and healthcare systems.

Our methodology is simple: you define the funtional specification (what the device is to do) and we develop the performance specification (how the device performs those functions). From there we develop prototypes for customer approval, after which we can either manufacture the device for you, or deliver the designs for manufacture elsewhere. In the overwhelming majority of cases, our clients prefer us to manufacture the control solutions we've created, so as to ertain a single point of contact.
