From humble beginnings and the invention of the safety sutout switch for the steam iron (two in fact, developed separately for two different global customers so that they wouldn't impinge on each others' IP), we've branched out to everything from controls for consumer durables such as cooktops and ovens, to hot water heaters, electric blankets and toasters, where the imperatives have always been novel features, reliability, but very low production costs.

Because we understand the intricacies of manufacturing, and manufacture in Australia as well as offshore, we can deliver a superior local design service, while keeping costs way down if the product and market demands.

CASE STUDY #1 - Electric Blanket Heater

After receiving a brief to create a feature rich control set for a top selling range of electric blankets, we set out to deliver an innovative design that included an LCD and soft touch switches, a real demarkation from previous blanket controls.

Our focus on delivering the maximum functionality in the smallest, most cost-effective package, has earned us a reputation amongst local producers of whitegoods and consumer durables as an innovative development partner.

CASE STUDY #2 - Shaver Power Adapter

We've created controls for everything from Australia's first mass-produced electric lawnmower, to light-duty power tools. So when it came to delivering a multi-voltage shaver power socket for use in hotels, that was durable and extremely low cost, we delivered.
