More than a decade''s experience designing and manufacturing embedded small AC motor starters for appliances such as electric drills and air conditioner compressors has resulted in a standardised design that is easily customised to suit a specific OEm application. Delivering proven performance where repeated stops/starts and precise voltage and motor speed control are required, embedded applications for which these devices are suitable include:

 electric power tools
 compressor and pump motors
 ventilation/fan motors

Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) Single Phase AC Motors

iStart is a low cost, easy to install and highly reliable after-market soft starter, designed to ensure small AC motors of up to 4.5Kw/6HP comply to the Australian '45 Amp Rule'; which requires that start up current be limited. Because it features universal wiring terminals instead of customised, device-specific wiring harnesses, it has wide applications, either as an OEM or after-market supplied unit, including:

 Refrigeration and air compressors
 Air curtain and commercial/industrial fan motors

Note:
 iStart can also be supplied in an OEM format (without a housing, and
   with or without the capacitor) for compressor or fan motor suppliers
   wanting to incorporate an efficient, reliable soft starter into their own
   product.
