3/10/2008: PNE an EDN Awards finalist 

This year, we submiited SafeZone, our innovative, one-of-a-kind, in-road/in-rail safety warning system, which was successfully trialled by the RTA in 2007.

Our submission, in the category 'Best Application of RF Design', was for the unique RF control and monitoring system, that includes a 'bit efficient' (and thus energy-efficient) communications protocol, which delivers levels of control in a wirelress, battery powered device, previously only possible by hard-wiring the system to external power and control lines.

Again, we're very gratified by the nomination and extend our best wishes to all this years finalists.
