30/9/2006: GAL acquires emergency vehicles control system supplier

Impart Special Products, a leading supplier of light, siren and vehicle control systems, is now a part of PNE Electronics.

Based in Caringbah, Impart SP is a leading designer and manufacturer of controls for vehicle electro-mechanical systems, covering flashing light controls, siren controls, vehicle-mount hydraulic systems controls and associated systems.

Many Emergency Services vehicles in all states of Australia incorporate control systems, comprising in-cabin control panels and device actuators have been fitted out by Impart. In the future, it's intended to apply much of the electronics expertise within PNE to the creation of innovative new control solutions for vehicles that will set the standard in many areas.
